WELCOME to Eighth Street Mennonite Church!  May you experience God's presence in this time of worship and fellowship.  Visitors are invited to sign the guest book in the narthex and to worship with us again.

GREETING US this morning are Jane Swihart and Joe Farrell.

Jane has been an 8th Street member for about 35 years.  She is a first grade teacher at Waterford Elementary.  She enjoys her two grandchildren, reading, and walking.  She has 3 grown children.  Recently she visited Matt who is studying in Germany and enjoyed seeing many museums and cathedrals with him.  Jane has always been involved in 8th Street's ministry – particularly in the Christian Education department.  Most recently she has chaired the Preschool Board, been Bible School coordinator and is the coordinator for Sunday morning refreshments.

Joe is supposed to be retired.  He retired from Conrail but is now working construction and driving truck for a business in Warsaw.  He likes working in his yard.  He has 5 children and 7 grandchildren.  He first came to 8th Street in 1972 and was church treasurer sometime in the 1970s, he says.  His most recent news is that his daughter Kristin got married on April 19 to Shannon Garland in Florida.  Kristin plans to have a reception in Goshen May 18.

THE FLOWERS are shared by Greg and Eudora Hartzler.
